Dr. Ali Chahlavi, MD, FAANS

Dr. Ali Chahlavi, MD, FAANS, is a board-certified neurosurgeon with over 20 years of experience at Ascension St. Vincent's in Jacksonville, Florida. He is the Director of Neuroscience and Chief of Surgery.

Dr. Chahlavi specializes in minimally invasive spine surgery, robotic-assisted and navigated spine surgery, dynamic stabilization spine surgery, brain tumor surgery, epilepsy surgery, and stereotactic radiation brain procedures. 

He has trained at the prestigious Cleveland Clinic under the mentorship of world leaders in spine, such as Dr. Ed Benzel, Dr. Ian Kalfas, and Dr. Isador Lieberman.

Dr. Chahlavi has done a fellowship in brain tumor research at in Cleveland Clinic.

Dr. Chahlavi is a Fellow of the American Association of Neurological Surgeons, Fellow of the Congress of Neurological Surgeons, and Fellow of the American College of Surgeons.

Dr. Chahlavi speaks English, French, Farsi, and understands Spanish.
